Candlepins for Dollars will be hosted by the former Boston's CW's news
anchor Frank Mallicoat and Mike Morin, who also hosted "Candlepin Stars and Strikes". Tapings will be held at Pilgrim
Lanes which is located at 600 Primrose St. in Haverhill, MA. All tapings will be on Sundays beginning at 9:30AM,
and will run most of the day, with a break for lunch. Please note that the tapings were originally scheduled for Saturdays,
but we have been able to change to Sunday tapings. 6 bowlers will bowl up a ladder 6 vs. 5, winner vs. 4, etc.
The winner will receive $1500 and will be invited to bowl in the Tournament of Champions at the end of the season!
We invite all fans of candlepin bowling, young and old, to come watch the tapings
live! The audience will be managed to provide more of a family atmosphere, and will be changed for each of the five
shows taped for each session. There will be NO RESERVED SEATING. We will seat the audience by draw one half hour before the
first taping. This will give the television viewers as well as sponsors a better flavor of the actual audience that is watching
candlepin bowling.
